College Admission

College Freshman

A graduate of an accredited high school may be admitted to the Institute as Freshman. The following requirements are to be submitted to the Registrar's Office:

  1. Form 138 or High School Report Card
  2. Three(3) recent 1x1 ID pictures signed at the back
  3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
  4. Entrance Test Result from the IIST Guidance and Testing Center
  5. Photocopy of Birth Certificate (NSO)

College Transferee

The applicant transferee is required to submit complete and valid credentials for admission:

  1. Honorable Dismissal from former school/school of origin
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character
  3. Transcript of records/certification of subjects with course descriptions taken from school of origin for evaluation purposes
  4. Original Copy of Transfer Credentials issued to Imus Institute of Science and Technology(IIST) only
  5. Entrance Test Result from the IIST Guidance and Testing Center
  6. Three(3) recent 1x1 ID pictures
  7. PNP clearance or Barangay Clearance
  8. Photocopy of Birth Certificate

Cross Enrollees

  1. Original Copy of Cross-Enrollment Permit from the school of origin
  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character
  3. Three(3) recent 1X1 ID pictures

Old Students

  1. Present accomplished clearance form
  2. Copy of the curriculum/checklist of subjects evaluated by the registrar

A student who has complied with all the admission requirements is qualified to enroll. He must use the name that appears on his birth certificate and admission credentials.

In the case of a married female student, an authenticated copy of the marriage certificate must be submitted to the Registrar's Office.

Enrollment Procedures for New Students

  1. Registrar checks credentials of new students or transferees
  2. Cashier receives payment of P210 for the entrance examination
  3. Provides envelope to the students who will take the examination
  4. Guidance and Testing Center administers the entrance examination
  5. Guidance and Testing Center provides results of tests
  6. Follow the procedures for enrollment:
    1. Applicant takes examination.
    2. Psychometrician releases the results.
    3. Guidance Counselor conducts an interview, encodes corresponding information and gives password to the prospective enrollee
    4. Applicants get curriculum of the course they prefer to take.
    5. Registrar's Office accepts and advises students to go into enrollment procedure.
    6. Registrar's Office evaluates the subjects that transferees should take while the new students will use the curriculum to determine the subjects they will enroll and encodes subjects to the Online Enrollment System.
    7. The Accounting Department makes an assessment of the fees to be paid.
    8. The cashier receives the payment.
    9. The Clinic staff does the medical and dental check-up

Enrollment Procedures for Old Students

  1. Submit accomplished clearance
  2. Fill-up Advisement Form for approval of the Dean/Program Head and the Registrar
  3. Present copy of the curriculum officialy evaluated by the Registrar together with the accomplished advisement form.

    Note: only grades in the portal/grading sheets submitted by the Faculty Members duly signed by the Dean/Program Head to the Registrar's Office shall be considered official

  4. Encode subjects to the Online Enrollment System.
  5. Proceed to Accounting Department for assessment.
  6. Pay the necessary fee at the Cashier's Office.
  7. Proceed to the clinic for medical and dental check-up.
  8. Registrar's Office issues classcards to enrolled students.
